Mock Scrape Update II

The Fox and I played to a draw this week :). At least it didn't come by and roll in the scrape. Had one small buck and a doe come in to check it out. I'm disappointed with the rack on this buck. He looks to have a fairly good size body for this area and I think should have a bigger rack. Looking at the broadside shot I'm guessing he would dress out around 150 lbs. That would make him at least a 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 year old deer. Probably just doesn't have the genes for a bigger rack.

His rack is quite small. Almost looks, "not quite right", as my grandma would say.

Poor dear deer. Bad case of Peter Pan Syndrome and will never grow up... :)

He does seem to have a good sized body, I think he's trying to outwit the trophy hunters by not growing any horns!

Farmchick - Grandma is always right :).

texwisgirl - He grew up...just not his head gear:).

Liesl - Never thought of that. Maybe he's smarter than I think :).

Those are giant spikes though! We give credit in camp for the largest spikes (and we tease a bit for the smallest ☺).

Poor guy. Probably gets teased by the other bucks in gym class. ;)

Kari - We're always up to give someone a good teasing.

Nancy - LOL!!!
