Lazy Bear
I have my trail camera on a large persimmon tree that has started to drop it's persimmons. This bear came by on the 10th and the 15th to eat. Both times it layed down to eat. Definitely one lazy bear...must be related to Yogi Bear :). Here's the pics from the 10th. I'll post the 15th later this week.

I just got caught up on your posts and I love the pics. The cows struck me as funny. I hadn't expected to see them just wandering around in the woods.--Inger
Too funny on the lazy bear! Sounds like several of the dogs at my house! :)

He's just following my philosophy - work smarter, not harder. :-) In the military they taught us never stand when you can sit and never sit when you can lay down.

I've always said that bears are the laziest eaters. I've watched them come in a lay in a patch of blueberries to eat. When they've ate all the berries in reach they just drag themselves with the front legs in reach of more. Not even bothering to think about standing up.
Gosh, lol. Just gotta love their style. Silly bears!
