O.K., Dawson complained that he wasn't getting enough face time on the blog for all of the hard work he does to support it. So here's a few of him posing for the cameras. Now if I could only get him to tell me what all he smells when he's gets that nose going 100 MPH :).

I love that 4th one. He looks so unamused...
I think the last time we saw Dawson here was when you used him to compare size-wise to a coyote. He was a stunt double. 'Bout time he gets his OWN post! :)
Aw!! Glad he got some face time! :)
My Uncle just put up a new camera in our woods at my house... I'll have to share a few if he gets any good ones!!
Oh my gravy... Dawson is cute! You're right, it would be so nice if they could tell us what they're smelling... you know they know!
He's right, he definitely should be more visible on your blog. Very cool looking dog.--Inger
Such a handsome fellow!
Joe -- Dawson -- neat name. I bet he is your best buddy! -- barbara
Dawson is smelling everything that has crossed that same path in the woods for the past few weeks. Every deer, raccoon, squirrel, chipmunk, bird, bug and body that has been through there. It IS a shame he can't tell you....he'd have a interesting tale to tell, no doubt! Pretty boy.
Nice looking dog that....
The 4th pic is a classic, great look Dawson. Handsome dog you have there! I love the dog posts. -stephanie
Ha! You caught him on camera! What a lovely oreo-cookie dog you have! Happy New Year Joe!
Dawson is looking at the camera like my husband looks at me sometimes... Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis? ;)
My dogs do the same thing with my cams! As if to say, put me on the blog!!!!
Do you notice any change in wildlife activity after Dawson has visited a cam? To my surprise, I seem to see *more* animals like coyotes, bobcats, and mountain lions if I take my dogs to a cam... And often those animals are marking over whereever my dogs stood. Surprised me...
Thanks all. Dawson appreciates all of your comments :).
KB - No, I haven't seen that with my cameras. We don't have any mountain lions but we do have coyotes and bobcats around.
Haha...facetime. It's a perfect face shot too. He KNEW he was on camera!
Wishing you a wonderful New Year ahead!!!!
Happy 2011...and here's to more great Nature Captures!
