Got some good pics this week from the cameras. I'll start off with a good 8 point buck. I thought I'd catch a good size buck using this trail. The camera is in a small clearing in some pretty thick cover. He's a pretty good one and should really be something if he can make it until next fall. Got a couple of turkeys

Nice buck and we are seeing a lot of turkeys in our area as well.
I like the antlers....I know it sounds naive, but I always wonder if they get headaches;)

Nice pics Joe. We seem to have a lot of turkeys in the past few years here in Montana. Is that the case for you guys too?
Dawn - I never thought about that but I doubt it. They never seem to be bothered by the antlers.
Karen - We've been lucky and have always had a lot of turkeys. The population will vary some but not a lot. Cold, rainy weather in the spring will kill the chicks just like you noted with the grouse on your blog.
