Big Coyote II

More pics of the coyote. He came by the camera at about the same time the very next morning. I’m assuming it a male anyway just going by the size. Got a rare three series set of him this time. I usually only get one pic of the coyotes. I believe this is the third time I’ve gotten pictures of him. The ones over the last two weeks at this set and once at another camera set last summer. Coyotes are very intelligent so maybe he’s concluded that the camera isn’t a threat.

Here's the link to the post of the morning before. Big Coyote

Here the pic of what I believe is the same coyote from last summer at another set.

Wish you could set some cams in our front field. This morning at 2:00 a.m. I was sitting on the front porch listening to quite the "howl-lelujah" chorus. It would have been better if I knew my dogs were safe, but after a bit, all of them came back to the house safe and sound with no coyote scuffles.

You are getting some really neat pics with the trail cams! Here in Pa I can go years between coyote sightings.

Thanks for the comment at Country Captures. The WB nuthatches do keep one entertained during the hours spent waiting on deer. I have always enjoyed watching the bird life while hunting and even more so now that the camera has became my primary weapon although I do trade it in for a short time each year when it is time to stock the freezer with venison.

Take care and keep the great trail cam pic coming.

texwisgirl - I always find the coyote chorus to be weird sounding but interesting to listen to.

Coy - Thanks for stopping by. We started seeing them regularly around this area about 15 years ago.

Farmchick - Your son isn't the only one in awe. The more I look at the pics the more I think WOW he is big. My hunting buddies have been in awe also.

That camera is awesome, you must have so much fun checking it out to see what you captured. The coyote pup has been back here three times now. Wish I had a camera like yours to see what they do at night.

Inger, I really enjoy the cameras. They've gotten to be somewhat addictive:). You should get one. The prices have really come down. You can get a pretty good one for $100 - $150.

That is a good-sized yote! We hear the packs howling all the time around our cabin, but we've never had a photo of one. Nice pictures!
