Sharing my trailcam pics and experiences from the Massanutten Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Hi Y'all,Facinating series of pics.Y'all come by nowHawk aka BrownDog
This is so cool! Like spying on nature : )
I love it. I have never seen a fox a raccoon and a deer in such close quarters before. Very coolBert
i was betting on the raccoon. looked like he was winning the stare-down. pretty intense they way they were circling. :) i always love seeing these sights on your blog!
Pretty unusual group in close quarters. Checking each other out. Love seeing this world you bring to us!
Hey Joe, those racoons circling round the deer sure is funny, like they could get to eat whatever the stare down was about from behind her..Come to think of it,what were they eating as there is a fox in the pic too??
Joe that is so cool we are learning all kinds of things about animal behavior. I love this. B
I'm betting the deer and coons are battling over the same mushroom? The fox must have different tastes... Great shots, Joe. Always love coming here to see what's going on in your world. :)
Raccoons are mean and I bet that poor deer thought he was going to come after him! Love seeing that fox.
I've missed visiting your blog. I'm so glad that the triplets are OK, and I love all your cub photos. I'm a real sucker for bears and cubs! In my neck of the woods, we have one very dominant sow, and I never see any sows with cubs besides her. She's the one with twins this year. The interaction between the deer and fox is fascinating! I wouldn't have thought that the deer would pay any attention to a fox... but that's why trail cams are so much fun - they surprise me all the time!
That's a pretty cool exchange to capture!!
