Fawns

As you might expect most of my pics last week were at the mountain pond. We're getting really dry here. I helped my farmer buddy drill four post holes yesterday and it was nothing but powder 3' down. The little pond has dropped about 6" in the last two weeks. So a lot of animals are coming to the pond for water and a cool dip.

Here's momma and a couple of fawns at the pond.

beautiful babies! sorry you're dry too. we could seriously use several feet of rain here and it still wouldn't bring the pond up to where it needs to be... sigh...

I know dry! Living in the Arizona desert we are really dry. Seems like this year we are getting lots of dust storms but very little actual rain. Love seeing the shots of the fawns.

Good to see healthy youngsters and an alert mama. Hopefully the pond will provide for the rest of the summer.

Those are great fawn photos! You're so lucky to have a pond for a camera trap. And the animals are lucky to have it for the water...

Those are great shots, Joe! It's nice to see the young 'uns out and about. Three feet and no moisture? That is dry.
