Lost and Found

My farmer buddy's neighbor said he was missing a couple of cows a week or so ago. Well I think I've find them. At least one anyway. She was waiting on me Saturday morning when I checked my camera. I was planning on moving the camera back to the cabin pond anyway. Hopefully I'll get some pics of the wood ducks when they pass through.

I found his dog also.

Then my buddy came through checking the fence. He
mentioned we were going to be building fence back there soon.

I think the reason I didn't get much in the way of wildlife back
here this week was because they couldn't get in for all of
the other traffic ;).

So...did they come and get the escaped cow?

You better tell me where that camera is hidden...I would hate for you to capture me on there;))

You have it in quite a busy intersection....keeping an eye on things is never a bad idea....especially when there is lost cattle involved!;)

Well that sure answers the question to where the beef is, lol!

Ha!! I love the cows in there, just bumbling along as if they belonged there deep in the woods! Is that you walking toward the camera, Joe? I love your wooded world - but I agree with Dawn... you may find me creeping around there someday... I'd better learn to shut the camera off myself. :D

You have a spy camera too! Those cows rambling around for a week sure had a long holiday!

Trailblazer - No. We'll probably have to go in and get them out for him.
Allison - Yes, that me in the second pic.

I love it...I've been enjoying your cam photos and told my husband we REALLY need to get one of those.

You might need to install a traffic light there instead a fence ;)

If it were me, I'd say finders keepers. :)

I jumped over from texwisgirl's blog when I saw the words 'trail cam.' I put them out too, and dogs and cattle are definitely a deterrent. I have gotten some awesome eagle pics this winter. Check my site in Dec/Jan. The deer are few and far between lately with our wolf problems. We also have bear and cougars. Gotta put a camera out for the woody's at the cabin creek again.
Thanks for the reminder
