Antlered Bucks

Don't get to do a mid week post last week like I usually do. Just too busy with work, basketball tournaments, Ruritan events, etc. etc. Thankfully next week looks a little slower.

Now I'm going to have to make a little confession. Remember in my last post I told you about the problem with the Power Line camera. Well, it turns out the camera is fine and the problem is with the operator...that would be me :(. Somehow I managed to put the old memory card back in the camera when I was changing them. So this week I got two weeks worth of pics. One of my favorite things at work is to be called about a problem and find out the problem is "operator error". Guess I'm going to have to be a little nicer with the operators next time ;). LOL.

Luckily I didn't lose the pics from the Power Line camera. Got a couple of pics of bucks that still had their antlers on 2/28. Also the small 8 pointer in the mountain still had one antler on 3/9. Like I said earlier the bucks in my area hang on to their antlers.

It takes a huge heart to admit when one makes a mistake. Way to go Joe;):)

Like that last shot....he stepped back in for one more look.

I've mad that same mistake many times!

I love that last photo! That's a very curious deer. You have so many of them around there, or else they herd up a lot more than ours.

Sorry for the type "mad" should be "made".

You had 58 degrees at 5:30 in the morning?? WOW. We're only getting into about 45 during the day with sunshine! Oh...Nice deer.

You? Made a mistake? :)

Good to know you still have some deer around -- we haven't seen many around lately.

Thanks for the comments all :). I do enjoy them.

KB - It's good to hear I'm not the only one to this that. The "operator's" going to be more careful in the future.

Karen - The temperature here will vary wildly in March. It might be 58 one night and 18 the next.

Nancy - Yes it's true...my first mistake in a good ten years ;). LOL.
