First Bear of Spring

I’ve been expecting to get a bear on camera for the last couple of weeks and last week I finally got
one. We’ve had unusually mild weather since the first of February and I thought the bear would be out
earlier this year. This looks like a good size boar bear making his rounds looking for food.

I notice there are no other animals around. I would stay out of his way too : )

Joe- thanks for sharing! I've found bear tracks/scat with in EYESIGHT of a camera or 2 of mine...so I'm hoping, ANY day now for a bear to show up on my sets!

Oh, that's cool, Joe! I bet they were out a bit early in lots of places this year.

I know we have them around here but don't see them like you probably do. That would be real cool if I could get a pic.
Nice pictures by the way.

Wow! I am terrified of bears, just seeing that picture would keep me out of the area.

Your first bear was only about 5 days before mine! That boar looks great for early spring. Wonderful photos.
