Fawns

The fawns are really getting big but they're still nursing off of momma. The does should be weaning them before long.

Oh my! Mom needs to wean them and put on some fat before winter. I love the fawns ears in the second photo.

Wow, your fawns still look much younger than ours. Ours are losing their spots...

Very cool that you captured nursing photos.

We caught some pics of fawns on our trail cam this weekend. Also a couple of nosy crows. lol

They seem way too old to still be on their mother's teats. The fawns I've been following on my cams all summer have been weaned a long time ago.

Mama does need to pack on some pounds! Great captures.

They're more like pre-teens now than fawns, huh? I'm sure mom is getting tired of the nursing. It won't be long. She could use a little weight before winter.

Wow. That last capture is one you don't see too often!
Love those spots!

Gentle images on a day in history that was anything but gentle. Richard

We've watched two fawns around here all summer long. Last night they came by without Mom. Surprising how one still had lots of visible dots, but I could hardly see any on the other one.

I gotta share this video a Flickr friend got with his trail cam. I couldn't believe how lucky he was to get this.

I've got two kittens who are going on 6 mos old and are still nursing, even though Momma was spayed a couple of months ago. Talk about failure to launch. :)

Great photos as usual, Joe.
