Bears and More Bears

I got a lot of different bear pics last week. As I said in my last post the triplets are fine and apparently we have another sow running around the farm with twins.  I moved the IR camera to a small mountain pond we used a backhoe the dig out several years ago and got some good bear pics from it the first week there. One looks like a pretty big bear that I’m guessing is a boar and another scruffy little fellow. Scruffy visited two camera sets last week. The one at the mountain pond and the other I have in the small woods out on the farm.

I still have few fawn pics this year. Actually I have only one. I suspect with all of the bears around the does are keeping the little ones out of harm’s way as much as they can.

Nice pics, Joe!

I wish we had some of your bears here for my camera traps :)

I also wish we had temperatures in the 60s and 70s, like you apparently do!

Great pictures! That is a huge boar you have there walking through.. I'm not sure who'd have more bear pictures at this point an time haha.. I'd go with we're getting pretty equal..

I sure enjoy the bear pics - we are pretty limited here on our camera to deer, deer, and coyotes... but it sure is fun to see what is out there moving around. It does sound like you are having beautiful weather.

That boar looks huge! The little cubs are so cute. The does are very clever lying low while the bears seem to be all over the place! Great stuff Joe!

I really want to get a camera in our bush, rumour has it there is a bear back there bigger than ever seen. I like to see it but not meet it on one of my hikes. B
