Long Beards

Finally got some pics of some of the bigger toms in the neighborhood after spending several weeks only getting some smaller jakes. The one tom looks especially nice with a long beard and full body. But still no one wants to strut for the camera.

Glad everyone liked the "albino" heron in the earlier post :). Got some more nice duck shots that I'll post later this week after I've had time to restore some of my pride and self esteem after a major catastrophe with one of my cameras. I'll give you a small hint....FLOOD :(.

nice turkeys - even if they're not strutting, they're showing some color.

FLOOD! Crapola! The weather's been so rough already this spring, I'm not surprised...

You know....someone once told me they were chased by a turkey and said it was a completely horrifying experience. I secretly thought they were exaggerating. When I look at the size of these I am beginning to sympathize a wee bit more;)

Those are some nice pics. I have been seeing a lot around here, I even almost hit one with my car the other day.

Nice birds! My son has come home empty handed (and sad faced) from two days of turkey hunting. Hoping he has better luck this week.

Love the turkeys! I can't wait for the strutting!

Flood... uh oh. No problems with floods here although occasionally the snow gets higher than my cams.

It seems like you have some good reliable sites for your cams where you get reliable pics and nobody stealing your cams. That must be nice...

We had a lot of flooding here too. I had to take a long detour on Saturday as a result.

Nice shots!
