Finally a buck has come out of hiding. I moved one of the cameras down along a creek next to a rye field that I had seen deer coming into right before dark last week. And I finally guessed right. Looks like a nice young 8 pointer along with his buddy a small spike. Also got some pics of a couple of big does. Hopefully after the holidays I can get back into some serious camera trapping.

what? no raccoons? man!!! :)
these are great photos! nice herd!
There is a serious lack of deer on all of my 8 cams that are out. I don't know what's wrong. Last year I had 100's of them.
At last! They look nice and healthy. My son-in-law is going deer hunting tomorrow. If he gets one he is giving the meat to me - yea!
Just like here!
Nice. I have had 5 cameras out for 2+ weeks with no checking them. I feel like a second Christmas is coming when I get to check them this weekend! They are about 20 miles away from me on private property that butts up to a State Wildlife Management Area, so our variety has to potential to be great. Usually I just get deer. REALLY hoping for a lagging bear, foxes, WEASELS of any kind, or even a cottontail. Thanks for posting your pictures!
Nice shots. This is the first winter in a while that we have had deer. Can you believe our buck have already shed? Happy New Year.
That is a handsome young lad! Glad to see some males survived the hunting season! Happy new year to you and your family Joe!
I can see that there is no snow - we have so mild winter so far also
That's and nice buck Joe. The rest of the photos id a pretty healthy group of followers. Nice pics.
Looks tasty.
Nice to see the bucks again!
Alright! Good to see they are still around
Nothing like a good water source and field edge to bring out deer.
Glad you got some recent buck pics!!
