It was a beautiful day Sunday checking my cameras so I decide to take the time and move a few cameras to different locations. One of those moved was along the creek where I had hoped to get a mink but I was really disappointed in how little activity I got there. Needless to say no minks were to be had.

Snow Squall Does
Since it was 80 here today I felt like posting some shots of does feeding during a brief snow storm we had last week. This little storm really got the deer feeding. I got these pics at the Mt. Pond of this group of does and another set out on the farm at the same time of other group.

Nice pics Joe, I like the snow, it shows them off really well. To bad about the mink, you'll have to try it again.
Snow...what is that again?! lol Great pics and the does look great against the chilly backdrop.
That first photo would make a great paining.
Joe, do you scent for mink? It's very tough to get them on camera. The luck I've had is being in the right place and right time...I tracked them in the snow then set a camera on their den. Very wary and secretive critters...g'luck! Can't wait to see results if/when.
PS- I got my first gray fox on camera this week and have been getting him/her every night since!!!
beautiful group of girls! wow! snow to 80!
Snow???? it was in the mid-70's here today!
Nice pictures from the camera. Snow again. We have early spring.
These are wonderful. I like the doe sticking out her tongue. It is nice to see snow. It has been altogether too warm here this week.

That's awesome capturing them with snow covering their backs
Funny how the weather changes so quickly. Great pics of the does! Too bad the minks didn't make an appearance.
Really beautiful photos of the deers in the snow. Hope you catch a mink next time :)
Hi Joe! Its lovely here, we go every year for skiing. I cant wait to 1st Oct. You maybe read my post about Vilja`s escape and hunting for 75-90 min. Her first hunting and she is not trained!! She has good hunting lines from our Tyra and the father I used. The brother Tyr got a fox and and a deer shoot with 7 months, thats early...
Some lovely darling does! Amazing ... snow last week and now in the 80s. Our morning fog has been gorgeous!
