I've been pretty much AWOL this past week from blogland :(. We finally had a week without rain and I was on the go about 25 hours a day trying to catch up on all the things I'd hope to get done in May. Made a dent in the projects but still have a bunch to do.
I did have a much better camera trapping week anyway. The momma and three cubs did move out onto the farm woodlot and I got some good pics of them out there. Also got a few other assorted critters I'll try to get posted later this week.

Man....once again some very nice cub pics!
Oh I love coming here. Great capture Joe. B
i saw the title of your post in my blog roll and got all excited to see them!!! such little rug rats!!! i can't imagine how crazy it must be for that momma!!!
Very good shots! Even I can appreciate bear cubs :)
Love the cubs...and 3 of them. When we were in Denali a few years back, a ranger told us that bears will not conceive if they aren't strong and healthy enough. It's a sort of natural selection that their body performs. I thought it was interesting.
Hey Joe! Great to see you are still amongst the living. :) I know what you mean about having to catch up -- we didn't have as much rain as you all -- but I'm a one woman band during the week, so same difference I guess.
Love the mama bear and 3 baby bear captures. My how they've grown.
Thanks so much for submitting your photos to YSB this week.
I'm glad your taking the (beautiful) pics and not me! I would be scared to death!
Thanks

Hey, I've missed you Joe! Great bear shots. Glad it's not you holding that camera! xo
I absolutely love these daytime pics of the Mama bear and cubs,I wonder what she was seeing/hearing in the second one? Enjoy the good weather there!
wow, what a family:) Take care beacuse I have heard that they can be more aggresive when they take care of the small babies!
Awww...cubs! Looks like you picked a stellar spot for the camera.

Wow - your trailcam photos are great! Mama Bear has her hands(paws?) full with three little ones. Great post!
Welcome back to blogland and I am still loving those cubs!
Sweet. That mamma bear sure has her work cut out for her;)
I love the ones of the sow and her three cubs walking away together. Great photos!
To answer your question, I've never had a bear clack his/her teeth at me. That would be *interesting* :) I've mainly seen the snorting, stomping, and ground slapping. They put on a great show!
As always, I so enjoy your camera work! Thos are wonderful shots!
