A man I know in Michigan set up a camera in an urban school yard and picked up quite a few deer visiting some drops off an old apple tree. I guess deer are squeezing into urban area when they can. -- barbaraFolkways Note Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07168881905408345126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009248940946832200.post-28382447052956719042010-12-02T19:26:13.279-05:002010-12-02T19:26:13.279-05:00Thanks all.

Really enjoy your blog.

Out on the prairie - Thanks for stopping by. Never been to Iowa but the bucks I've seen in magazines are awesome.

Rachel - I think the acorns had some to do with it. There was more than I've ever seen. The Craigs List ad was probably more for the resort area would be my guess. I'm not going anywhere. I've really enjoyed all of the great bloggers friends I've made to past couple of months. Depending on how cooperative the animals are I hope to do two posts a week.Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08167025586708740663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009248940946832200.post-53159365164429403812010-12-02T17:22:32.682-05:002010-12-02T17:22:32.682-05:00I guess there were too many acorns to distract the...I guess there were too many acorns to distract them this year? I saw an ad on Craigslist the other day and thought of you... they were looking for blog writers who were familiar with the Massanutten area... which it sounds like you are very. It was in the Harrisonburg Craislist listing if you're interested. I hope we will still get photos from you. I have really enjoyed them.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09610496342255540894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009248940946832200.post-13700688057841004772010-12-02T15:06:11.255-05:002010-12-02T15:06:11.255-05:00Those trail cameras can really get you going. We have a big population here in Iowa, corn fed also.A extra tag can be had for the state and some city parks also.I have been watching one buck for three years and he is just awesome to watch him walk, a rack over 3 1/2 foot across.Out on the prairiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548162534362532705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009248940946832200.post-10258377278245119612010-12-02T10:47:10.350-05:002010-12-02T10:47:10.350-05:00Some pics are better than no pics.
